Miss Namibia 2024, Prisca Anyolo, described her experience at the pageant as life-changing. She said this at an event where she received prizes ranging from a vehicle to cash.
"It's because of people like you that little girls, such as myself, have dreams come true. People don't always realise how much of a catalyst beauty pageants are to transform and change a woman's life. To make sure that we make a positive impact on someone's life. This is one of those very small gifts that I am very grateful for, and trust me, what I plan on doing for my country is worth so much more than that, so thank you."
nbc Director General Stanley Similo conveyed his appreciation to the sponsors.
"In no particular order, all our sponsors who made this event possible. Today is about you. It's to say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I think we can applaud that because if the sponsors are not onboard, an event such as this cannot happen."
Pupkewitz Motors, the long-standing main sponsor, presented her with the grand prize—a brand-new Toyota Starlet Cross, co-sponsored by Debmarine Namibia.
Debmarine Namibia also awarded Miss Namibia with N$150,000 in cash, a monthly allowance of N$3,000 for the year of her reign, and N$2,000 for making it to the Top 10.
Debmarine Namibia's CEO, Willy Mertenz, applauded the nbc for pulling off a magnificent production and for the opportunities created through the event.
The CEO of the Miss Namibia Organisation, Umbi Karuaihe-Upi, was thrilled with the sponsors and with those who showed interest in joining.
Other sponsors include Signature Cosmetics, I AM HAIR & BEAUTY, Windhoek Optics, Fantastic Samuel Nails Perfection, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company, all offering a variety of luxurious prizes to ensure the queen's reign is both glamorous and memorable.
