The Omaheke Netball regional league took place on Saturday in Gobabis, but ongoing challenges continue to hinder the success of the league.

The league aims to keep young women active and productive within the community. Netball Namibia's Acting Interim Chairman, Esmerelda Bendt, highlighted some of the challenges the league currently faces.
Some players echoed Bendt's sentiments, calling on the corporate world to sponsor the league.
Bendt further added that the region needed to work together to keep the league active.
