The Christian Democratic Voice (CDV) party promises to give unfettered operation to churches, enabling them to fulfil their missions and reach those in need if elected into the National Assembly.
The party believes that the church is an essential institution that not only fosters spiritual growth but also contributes to the well-being of communities.
Their plans for Christians and churches are rooted in a commitment to protect religious freedoms and strengthen the role of the church in society.
The party will support churches by providing resources for outreach programs.
"Our party will actively protect the right to religious expression in all public and private spaces, ensuring that Christians can practice and share their faith openly without fear of discrimination. We will also work with faith-based organisations to create partnerships that address social challenges and promote justice, equality, and compassion. By empowering churches and working alongside Christian leaders, we aim to create a society where Christian values of love, forgiveness, and service shape public life and government policy," said party member John Ucham.
The party's focus on policing and justice focuses on strengthening law enforcement through increased recruitment, retention, and officer well-being.
It emphasises professional development, mental health support, and improved career conditions to enhance the police force's effectiveness and reputation.
"I urge all Christians and the Nation of Namibia to vote for the Democratic Voice Party; we should vote to have voices in the Parliament. To have representatives speak for our church in Namibia. To fight against non-biblical acts, vote Christian Democratic Voice Party. We must declare Namibia a Christian state. We, as the Christian Democratic Voice Party, believe in the Bible."
