The Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) level national examination results for full-time and part-time candidates will be released on the 14th of January. 

nbc News spoke to the Education Ministry's Executive Director Sanet Steenkamp.

"The release of the NSSCO, as well as the Advance subsidiary results for the academic year 2024, is scheduled to take place on the 14th of January 2025. The Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture wishes to extend our warmest appreciation to all our teachers and markers, moderators, as well as staff members, involved in the grading and great review as our whole aim, is to ensure that we offer genuine and credible results to the Namibian nation."

Steenkamp said that the importance of this early notification is to help learners mentally prepare for the results as they transition into the new academic year 2025.

"We also acknowledge that this is a sensitive period, but we wish to request all our current candidates, be they part-time candidates or full-time candidates, to prepare themselves very well for the release of the results, the methodology of the results will still be communicated, however, we need to acknowledge at all levels to unbalance in terms of maintaining hope and being very supportive to all our candidates who will be receiving their results."

The Executive Director also urges all learners to approach their results with a positive mindset and make use of available guidance services if needed.
