Spokesperson at the Judiciary, Vikitoria Hango, has confirmed that the Judicial Service Commission has received a complaint filed by Dr. Job Amupanda against High Court Judge Shafimana Ueitele.

Ueitele is at the centre of a formal complaint submitted to the JSC, in which Amupanda accuses the judge of judicial misconduct, bias, and improper handling of the Red Line case.

According to the complaint, seen by nbc News, Judge Ueitele is alleged to have displayed partiality in the matter. The submission to JSC details instances where the judge allegedly made decisions that appeared to favour certain parties.

Additionally, Amupanda complains that the judge allegedly deviated from established legal norms.
