Students at the International University of Management (IUM) are urged to grab every opportunity to gain knowledge and skills and be agents of change.

The students were reminded of these facts during the official opening of the institution's 2025 academic year in the capital.

The students and lecturers were also urged to embrace unity and teamwork.

The university reaffirmed its commitment to transforming communities and imparting knowledge, as well as its dedication to quality education.

IUM's Vice Chancellor Osmund Mwandemele indicated that through its education, the university ensures that socioeconomic needs are met through education.

IUM Founder and Chairman David Namwandi said that the university has and will continue changing people's lives.

He indicated that to continue making an impact in the country, the university will continue providing services closer to the people across the country.

IUM has registered 24,030 students across all the campuses.
