A Member of Parliament, Willem Amutenya, urged training institutions to enrol students based on industry needs and economic demand, highlighting that institutions should not only aim to fill courses.
 

Prime Minister Dr Elijah Ngurare has urged new graduates to use their newly acquired skills to further advance their cause for self-development.

He made the remarks during the graduation ceremony of Triumphant College today. 

The Fourth National Skills Competition kicked off in Swakopmund on Tuesday with a TVET Conference happening simultaneously.

The conference brings together policymakers, educators and industry leaders to discuss strategies for advancing skills development.

Students at the International University of Management (IUM) are urged to grab every opportunity to gain knowledge and skills and be agents of change.

The students were reminded of these facts during the official opening of the institution's 2025 academic year in the capital.

The hub space serves as a training ground where youngsters can develop innovative ideas, allowing them to establish viable businesses.

The Kai ||Ganaxab Youth Skills Centre outside Mariental in the Hardap Region will offer vocational training as of next year.
