Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has approved the reshuffling of government Executive Directors following recommendations from the Public Service Commission.
According to a statement released by the Secretary of the Cabinet, three Executive Directors have been transferred:
Nghidinua Daniel moves from the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security as Executive Director and Accounting Officer.
Audrin Mathe is transferred from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology to the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations as Executive Director and Accounting Officer.
Ben Nangombe, formerly at the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy, joins the Office of the Prime Minister: Cabinet Secretariat as Executive Director without accounting functions.
The following Executive Directors have reassigned accounting functions:
Erastus Haitengela will serve as Executive Director and Accounting Officer for Vote 40 (Education) under the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture.
Gerard Vries will be the Executive Director and Accounting Officer for Vote 27 (Sport, Youth, and National Service) in the same ministry.
Ndiyakupi Nghituwamata has been appointed Executive Director and Accounting Officer for Vote 37 (Agriculture and Land Reform) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Land Reform.
Teofilus Nghitila will take over as Executive Director and Accounting Officer for Vote 38 (Water and Marine Resources) within the same ministry.
Moses Pakote will serve as Executive Director and Accounting Officer for the Ministry of Industries, Mines, and Energy.
The Cabinet Secretariat also announced the retirement of Etienne Maritz from the Public Service effective 31.
An acting Executive Director for the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology will be appointed.
