The Provincial Heroes' Day celebration for Zimbabwe’s fallen heroes was commemorated together with Mashonaland West Province of which a commemoration ceremony was held at the provincial heroes acre in Chinhoyi town.

The Kavango East Regional delegation currently in the province for the signing of the renewed memorandum of understanding, led by the Governor, Hambyuka Hamunyera, honoured the invitation to attend the ceremony. 

He said the commemoration is significant, as not only does the province honour their heroes and the newly upgraded infrastructure, but it is also a reminder of Namibia's own upcoming Heroes' Day celebration.
