A Zimbabwean couple cycling from Zimbabwe to Nigeria in a campaign to promote sustainable tourism has arrived in Namibia.

Zimbabwe's High Commissioner to Namibia, Melody Chaura, paid a visit to local manufacturing company Dinapama, aimed at strengthening collaboration between Namibia and Zimbabwe.

The aim of the visit was to share skills and further collaborate on development aspects.

Former Acting High Court Judge Moses Chinhengo died at his home in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. His death was announced in a statement by the Judicial Service Commission of Namibia.

The Provincial Heroes' Day celebration for Zimbabwe’s fallen heroes was commemorated together with Mashonaland West Province of which a commemoration ceremony was held at the provincial heroes acre in Chinhoyi town.

The Kavango East Region and the province of Mashonaland West of Zimbabwe have officially renewed the five-year memorandum of understanding through a signing ceremony held in Chinhoyi this morning. 

The Governor of the Kavango East Region, Hamunyera Hambyuka, stated that Namibia has much to learn from Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector, particularly in adopting agribusiness models that support successful farming, poverty reduction, and employment creation.
