President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah discussed development plans outlined in the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6) with traditional leaders in the Kavango East and West regions.

 She emphasised the crucial role the traditional authorities play in ensuring the welfare of Namibian citizens. 

The President reaffirmed her office’s commitment to the implementation of NDP6 projects.

In agriculture, the key focus areas for food security include the Kavango West, Kavango East, and Zambezi regions, but they are not the only ones being considered.

The meeting was held in Rundu.
