Kyrgyzstan is lobbying for Namibia’s support in its bid to secure observer status at the African Union (AU).
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov met for bilateral talks on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
The Central Asian nation initiated discussions earlier this year to obtain observer status at the AU and expand cooperation with African countries, including Namibia.
