It is all systems go for Outapi Constituency by-election slated for Monday.

This morning the ECN deployed polling officials and police officers who will maintain law and order at the 42 polling stations.

211 polling officials picked up election materials at Outapi for pre-poll preparations ahead of tomorrow.

All polling stations will open at 07H00 and close at 21H00.

ECN's Chief Electoral and Referenda Officer Peter Shaama maintrains they are ready.

He then called on polling officials to serve the voters with high professionalism for the voting process to be a success.

"To my teams, as you were prepared well, go in the field, assist the nation, particularly locals in this constituency, and make sure that they exercise their constitutional rights to vote for the leader of their choice."

Shaama called on all the 26,000 eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights.

"They must not come at the last minute because doing so will exact unnecessary pressure on the entire process, making it difficult for us to deliver the results timely."
