Finance Minister Ericah Shafudah is expected to present the Mid-term Budget Review to Parliament this afternoon.

The review will assess the country's economic performance so far and propose amendments to the Appropriation Act 2025 to increase or decrease specific allocations in the schedule to meet the state's financial requirements for the remainder of the 2025/26 financial year.

It will also provide updates on fiscal policy, revenue collection and spending priorities as the government seeks to balance economic growth with social development goals.

The proceedings will be broadcast live on NBC1 from 14h30.
