The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has announced the appointment of Linda Aipinge as the new Executive Director, effective 1 January 2026.

Aipinge has served as Director of ICT Development within the Ministry, where Minister Emma Theofelus says she demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to advancing Namibia's digital transformation agenda.

"Her wealth of experience and proven track record will undoubtedly strengthen our collective efforts in fulfilling the Ministry's mandate. I call upon all staff members to extend their full cooperation and support to Mrs Aipinge as she assumes this important leadership role."

Theofelus called on ministry staff to continue working with unity and purpose to drive innovation, enhance service delivery, and contribute to Namibia's national development priorities.
