The spokesperson for the National Security Commission of Iran, Ebrahim Rezaei, admitted the normal functioning of the oil export sector after his visit to Kharg Island.

The exact date and location of the footage cannot be independently verified.

"Life is continuing, and oil exports are proceeding without any problems, and we have not seen any specific issues here. Security is completely established on the island," he said. "Our armed forces are committed and swear that if any aggressor violates this Iranian island, they will certainly face the harshest response and will not return alive."

Earlier, on March 13, US President Donald Trump released footage purportedly showing US strikes on Kharg Island, which handles roughly 90% of Iran's crude oil exports.

The US and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, amid diplomatic talks aimed at 'curbing Iran's nuclear and missile programmes'. Tehran responded with retaliatory strikes on Israeli and US assets in the region, accompanied by reports of explosions in several Gulf countries.

The latest escalation has driven oil prices above 100 USD per barrel, rattling global energy markets and sparking protests in several countries.
