The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) is gearing up for its 35th anniversary celebrations, with all departments involved in the planning process.

NBC Head of News and Current Affairs Peter Denk said the event will showcase some of the broadcaster's biggest productions; honour past and present Director-Generals, including the first female Director-General, Menesia Muinjo, and pay tribute to the voices and faces that have shaped NBC over the years.

Denk said the celebrations will reflect on both the successes and challenges experienced by the national broadcaster throughout its 35-year history.
