The Dr. Eino Mvula Community Centre was officially opened in Etambo village, Ondangwa Urban Constituency, Oshana Region.

The centre will host educational activities, women's association meetings, parents' gatherings and other community events and will be available to the Namibian Police for awareness meetings on crime prevention, drug abuse, gender‑based violence and other social issues.

Local farmers, senior citizens and other residents are expected to use the facility for initiatives that contribute to Etambo's social and economic development.

Community members began construction using limited resources. The Office of the Governor later provided financial and material support to complete the project.

Opening the centre, Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge congratulated residents and urged them to use the facility to unite, empower and strengthen the community and support sustainable development and economic growth.
