Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has assured continued visits and engagements with public entities to strengthen service delivery and gain a better understanding of their operations and the challenges they face.

Dr. Ngurare made these remarks during his visit to the Government Garage and Stores, where he emphasised the importance of regular engagement with public institutions to improve efficiency, accountability, and service delivery across government.

"So, this is not new. I have been visiting various ministries because I want to gain a broader appreciation of what is happening within them. When I speak to a minister, they may tell me, 'We have government stores, a government garage, maintenance services, and so forth.' However, it is much better for me to see these things firsthand. For example, we recently met to discuss the operationalisation of what we call the Public Asset Management Agency. This initiative is part of our broader effort to improve the management of public resources. I urge everyone to subordinate personal interests to the national interest. The national interest is to ensure that, over the next four or five years, we implement the priorities we have set out in the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6). We are the generation entrusted with completing Vision 2030. More importantly, the responsibility rests on the shoulders of the President and all of us to ensure that we create employment, invest in our country, empower our youth, and restore pride to every Namibian across our 14 regions and 121 constituencies."
