The Bank Windhoek Omuthiya branch on Thursday donated groceries, toiletries, and other essential items to the Kufamosha Information Disability Centre at Omalindi in the Oshikoto Region.

Branch Head Natanael Natanael said the donation forms part of the bank's corporate social responsibility initiatives. 

"We have engaged with the community, and we found the owner. We discussed with him about their daily needs, with food being the number one item, because of the number of people with disabilities they feed in the community." 

One of the beneficiaries who is a member of the Kufamosha Information Disability Centre, Henok Mvula, has expressed heartfelt gratitude.

"Thank you, my good Samaritans; continue helping us who are in need, just like us. In English, I would say, 'Thank you very much,' and 'May God bless you."

The Disability Center was established in 2020 by Petrus Theofelus, who is well known as Tate Makiti.
It caters for over twenty people and is located seven kilometres outside of Omuthiya, close to Oshifukwa.
