The coach of the Richelieu Eagles, Pierre de Bruyn, said that the players are looking focussed in training and are progressing very well.

He said that the players took a well-deserved break as they had to come to terms with their performance at the world cup and all the emotions that surfaced as a result of it.
 
He believes that a massive reset for the players is required to switch their attention from T20 to the ODI format.
 
Earlier this year, Namibia recorded four wins out of four matches contested when they played against USA and Papa New Guinea and De Bruyn is looking for the same intensity during their upcoming series against the same opponents.
 
The coach was, however, quick to remind his players that this will be a totally different series as both teams will attempt to not only beat Namibia but also to collect points for the Cricket World Cup League's 2 ODI Series.
 
So, as the Richelieu Eagles are resetting their target towards the ODI format, how is the coach planning to ensure the players are well-prepared for eight tough games.

Playing eight competitive ODI matches back-to-back will mean that there's a lot at stake in terms of who will make it to the top of the standings and compete in the 50 Over World Cup Qualifier in 2023. Surely, the Richelieu Eagles will be hoping for a good start against Papa New Guinea on Sunday.
