President Hage Geingob and his Botswana counterpart, Mokgweetsi Masisi, are currently in a closed meeting at State House.

Masisi is on a one-day working visit to Namibia on an invitation by Dr. Geingob.

The two countries held the inaugural session of the Botswana-Namibia Bi-National Commission late last year, chaired by Geingob and Masisi.

The BNC session resulted in a number of decisions being taken to strengthen existing bilateral ties.

Among the key decisions are the One-Stop Border posts at Mamuno and the Trans-Kalahari Border Posts.

The One-Stop Border Post is due for official inauguration this year.

Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says the officials' respective countries are expected to provide progress reports to Dr. Geingob and Masisi.
