The decade-old vacancy of the CEO position at the Kalkrand Village Council has hindered development, causing delays in governance and infrastructure projects. 

Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) loan before the due date.

The fund launched its online application on Tuesday.

The Education Director for the ||Kharas Region, Jesmine Magerman, has expressed disappointment over the region's worsening performance in the 2024 Grade 11 and AS level exams. 

The region slipped from third place to number 12 in the Grade 11 national ranking list.
