Namibia has called on developed nations to take responsibility for their greenhouse gas emissions and provide reparations for the environmental harm caused by climate change. 

Speaker of the National Assembly Peter Katjavivi has urged incoming parliamentarians to acquaint themselves with the parliamentary rules as they prepare to begin their roles in 2025.

Professor Katjavivi was speaking on nbc's 'Inside the Chambers' TV program.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Namibia officially opened its 5th office countrywide, with the latest being the Rundu Branch in Kavango East.

The Rundu Office will cater to both the Kavango East, West, and Zambezi Regions.

As Namibia celebrates Human Rights Day, the executive director of Women Action for Development, Salatiel Shinedima, has urged Namibians to educate themselves about various social protection means and understand their rights.

This comes in commemoration of Human Rights Day tomorrow.
