Namibia celebrated 30 years since the full and formal re-integration of Walvis Bay and its 12 offshore islands.

One more person has died following an incident where eight people are suspected to have contracted food poisoning at Livayi Village, 155 kilometres east of Rundu.

This brings the number of dead from the incident to three.

Kunene Governor Marius Sheya says the government's drought mitigation programme has been a relief to the farmers.
