The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security, Lucia Iipumbu, has urged senior officials within the police force to ensure fairness regarding promotions.

Iipumbu emphasised that decisions must be guided by members' commitment, years of service, and professional conduct.

The Bank of Namibia is under scrutiny following a social media post referencing the term "Outere Dollar" in relation to the newly introduced N$1 coin. This term has sparked allegations of cultural insensitivity and tribalism.
