The Omaheke Regional Council hosted a Regional Gender Task Force meeting in Gobabis, bringing together different stakeholders to discuss challenges affecting communities in the region.

The National Assembly has approved the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy's vote of N$827 million.

The vote will now move to National Council.

Members of Parliament made contributions to the N$682 million allocation to the Information and Communication Technology Ministry.

They mostly raise issues on cybersecurity, network accessibility and state media.

NamWater dams have recorded a notable change this week with the overall water capacity standing at 79,4 percent compared to 78,6 percent in the previous week.

Dams in the south and western part of the country recorded the highest levels, followed by the Windhoek dams and central dams.
