The water levels in flood-stricken villages of the Ohangwena and Oshana regions continue to subside, giving a bit of relief to the affected residents. 

It's been close to three months since the flood waters from Angola entered Oimbadalunga Village in the Ohangwena Region. 

Residents of the Engela Constituency remain on high alert for impending floods.
 
The flood waters that are coming in from southern Angola arrived in Namibia yesterday morning and have so far reached Onghala, Oimbadalunga, Eeshoke, Ohaingu, and Engela villages.

Flood waters from southern Angola entered the Engela Constituency of the Ohangwena Region.

Residents living in flood-prone areas in the Ohangwena Region have been urged to be vigilant of the dangers that flood waters pose.
