Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) MP Inna Hengari has urged political parties to support local talent, particularly during their ongoing election campaigns. 

She called on fellow members to shift their focus from foreign performers and invest in Namibian talent.

With three months to go before the November elections, the Popular Democratic Movement has been working on its structures to ensure that its policies and strategies reflect the diverse needs and aspirations of its entire electorate and the party's mandate. 

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) MP Inna Hengari has tabled a motion in the National Assembly calling for an urgent debate on the overwhelming presence of foreign music on local radio stations.

Parliamentarian Inna Hengari was granted bail of N$ 5 000 in the Katutura Magistrate's Court on Friday after her arrest during the protest against unemployment along with activists Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and Michael Amushelelo. They were arrested on Tuesday.
