Namibians have joined the Chinese Embassy in celebrating the Spring Festival, marking the Chinese New Year in Windhoek.
The gathering themed around the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Horse, symbolising power, success, and prosperity.
The Chinese Embassy has marked the 80th anniversary of the 'victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.'
The event coincided with the 98th Anniversary of China's People's Liberation Army.
About 100 children from the Namibia Children's Home received free medical check-ups from a visiting Chinese medical team.
This event was made possible through collaboration between the Office of the First Lady and the Chinese Embassy.
