Omaheke commercial farmers warned against unfair labour practices

Authorities in the Omaheke Region have warned commercial farm owners against unfair labour practices and the eviction of farm workers.

The councillor for the Okorukambe constituency in the region, Rocco Nguvauva, issued the warning after he was denied access to some commercial farms in the constituency.

The process will see all 4,500 registered plots at the settlement demarcated. 

SSC funds Gebedplass San Self Help Project

The Social Security Commission (SSC), through its development fund, has funded the Gebedplass San Self-Help Project at Otjozohungu in the Otjombinde Constituency.
 
The project, which consists of dairy cows, welding, a vehicle, and an office, was set up at a cost of over N$1 million.
