Principals from various village schools in the Kavango West Region say the donation of a classroom block by NAMDIA has significantly improved the atmosphere at their schools. 

The Namib Desert Diamonds (NAMDIA) Foundation has spent N$5.9 million upgrading education and water infrastructure at various rural primary schools in the Kavango West Region. 

Some locals employed at the Lignaverda reforestation project in the Kavango West Region are saying the project is making a difference in their lives. 

The project is a collaboration between Lignaverda, a Belgian-based NGO, and the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism.

The Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust's (NFCPT) gala dinner held in Rundu raised more than N$324,000. 

The money will be used for educational and social development projects in the Kavango East Region.
