Descendants of the Batswana of Namibia who renounced their citizenship two to three years ago are preparing to return home.

They will be taken to the Dobe border post near Gam on August 23rd.

In his State of the Region Address, Governor James Uerikua says the demand for resettlement surpasses the supply.

Minister Pohamba Shifeta remarked on this at the opening of the Standard Bank Biomass Fair at Otjiwarongo.

The Damaran community bid farewell to Khoekhoegowab preserver Michael Doëseb at Khorixas.

They described him as a historian, herbalist, poet, and artist of note.

Known as the Damara cultural father, Michael Doëseb was born in Omaruru 73 years ago.

MTC and MVA build classrooms to ease overcrowding at Tsumeb Primary

Being taught in overcrowded classrooms has become history for the learners of Tsumeb Primary School, thanks to the MTC Rural Schools Project.

The project built eight classrooms, a lab, and a storeroom in partnership with the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund.
