50 Houses electrified in Bukalo

The Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (NORED) has electrified 50 houses that were recently handed over to the owners through the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia in the Zambezi Region's Bukalo village.

The electrified houses are part of phase one of an ongoing two-phase construction project.

Trio remains in custody over cannabis

A Namibian man, Sililo Liseho, and two Zambians, Kubonana Sikuniso and Mukuswani Mukuswani, remain in custody pending investigations after being found in possession of cannabis.

The trio was arrested over the weekend while illegally crossing into Namibia from Zambia.
