The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) this week engaged journalists from different media houses to help them tell the story behind numbers.

Currently, there are 2,036 registered schools in total, catering to 896,311 learners. 

The teacher population stands at 33,322, 22,000 of whom are female. 

The development of the much-anticipated second phase of the Neckartal Dam Irrigation Scheme is set to start next year. 

The Minister of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform, Carl Schlettwein, said this when he officially opened the Keetmanshoop Agricultural, Industrial, and Tourism Expo.
