The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) unveiled the Namibia 2023 Population and Housing Census Main Report in Windhoek on Wednesday.
According to the report, Namibia's population remains at just over three million, as was reported in the preliminary census report in March this year.
The domestic economy recorded a growth of 3.5 percent during the second quarter of 2024.
The growth marks a slight slowdown in the economic activities compared to a growth of 3.6 percent that was recorded during the second quarter of 2023.
The Namibia Statistics Agency has commended people in the northern regions for their cooperation since the commencement of the census two weeks ago.
Its Deputy Statistician General, Ottilie Mwazi, singled out the Oshana, Ohangwena, Oshikoto, and Omusati Regions.
