African Stars clinch Debmarine Premiership title in style

Defending champions African Stars have retained the Debmarine Premiership title after a decisive 2-0 victory over Orlando Pirates in the final match of the season at Independence Stadium on Saturday.

The first half was intense, with both teams displaying impressive skill ,but ultimately ending in a goalless draw.

However, in the second half, African Stars stepped up their game, scoring two stunning goals, including a beautiful free kick by Awilo Stephanus, in front of a roaring crowd.

Ongos go clear at the Top

Ongos collected maximum points over the weekend, after beating Young Brazilians 3-0  in Windhoek today. This is after they also beat Khomas NAMPOL with the identical score on Friday night.

Ongos are a different team under coach Father Elemu who joined them recently as they continued with their good form of late by thrashing Young Brazilians 3-0 to ensure their grip on the title.

The win secured them 6 points, 6 goals and 2 clean sheets over the  weekend, as they moved away from the chasing pack.

Khomas Nampol's Successful Mission to Survive Relegation

Their primary objective was to accumulate points early on to secure a favorable position and avoid relegation by the end of the season.

Eichab believes that this mission has been accomplished, as evidenced by their recent 4-0 victory over struggling Orlando Pirates.
