New allegations arise in Okahandja shooting incident

New allegations have emerged in the Okahandja shooting incident, where five men lost their lives in April 2023 in connection with an alleged planned robbery.

The men were shot and killed by the Namibian Police and the Windhoek City Police.

The serious allegations have been made public on social media pages by activist Michael Amushelelo.

Police station commanders urged to continuously learn and develop

Namibian Police Station Commanders for B-Class Police Stations from 13 regions of the country, with the exception of the Oshana Region, have been urged to continuously learn and develop as they lead their subordinates to ensure effective and knowledgeable management.

The 39 station commanders are currently undergoing a programme that seeks to equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively lead their respective stations and communities.
