Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Emma Theofelus informed the National Assembly that Telecom Namibia has started the process to overhaul most of its overworked and oldest equipment to improve network service.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security has discharged 21 staff members between 2020 and 2025 for matters related to the illegal issuance of national documents and permits.

This was revealed by Minister Lucia Iipumbu following reports of the illegal sale of national documents.

The Minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, Emma Kantema, said the ministry is actively making efforts to support women through various programmes such as income-generating activities and capacity-building initiatives.

Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture, Dino Ballotti, assured the public that measures are in place to ensure a secure, fair, and credible national examination process.

The Minister of Agriculture, Water, Forestry and Land Reform, Inge Zaamwani, has said any amendments to the Land Bill intended to improve provisions in the communal area are welcome.
