Grade 4 and 5 learners at Higher Hope Primary School in Walvis Bay have been sent home due to a lack of water at the school. 

Overcrowded classrooms, a lack of proper furniture, inadequate financial resources, and insufficient infrastructure development remain a challenge to many schools in Erongo, contributing to high failure rates.
 

The sixth session of the Children's Parliament, starting in July, will focus on the transformation of education.

It will also aim to find solutions to the educational challenges faced by children.
