The Omaheke Region Governor's Doctors Outreach Initiative is a humanitarian campaign to provide much-needed medical services in the region. 

The initiative saw a team of 30 specialists from Windhoek embark on a mission to improve the health and well-being of Gobabis residents and surrounding areas.

Well-known gynaecologist Matti Kimberg, who died last Sunday, has been remembered by the medical fraternity as a selfless servant in the health field.

Dr. Kimberg's journey in medicine took him far beyond his South African hometown of Vryheid.
