A Grade 3 dropout from Kavango West Region, Visentius Kapumburu has surprised his community for generating  electricity at home from discarded materials.

Jobs are changing, new opportunities are emerging, and work is being redefined, while skills are changing thanks to artificial intelligence. It no longer just generates information but is involved in acting, creating content and showing rapid global growth.

While unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges facing young people across the country, two local youths in the remote settlement of Tsumkwe are proving that innovation can grow even in the most difficult conditions. 

Windhoek Technical High School's Techies has claimed first place in the high school category at the 10th Annual Programming Competition awards. 

Namibia University of Science and Technology's Phonics Team took the top spot among tertiary competitors.

The third ExxonMobil Foundation STEAM Africa Zonal Quiz competition took place on Saturday, drawing participation from various schools in the |Khomas Region.

One of Namibia's nominees at the African Tourism Leadership Forum and Awards, Rosalia Haufiku, became the first runner-up in the Youth Innovation category. 

Haufiku is one of the two Namibians nominated for awards by the African Leadership Forum and Awards Committee.
