Namibia's agricultural and fisheries sectors have benefited from technical training and knowledge exchange through the Namibian and Chinese governments and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) training.

Namibia and Algeria have renewed their commitment to work closely together in the oil, gas, and wider energy sector. 

This follows a meeting between Vice President Lucia Witbooi and Algeria's Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Arkab. 

More than 120 journalists, media workers, and communicators from around the world formed an alliance to report on issues affecting the Global South.

Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Namibia, Mohamad Rameez Yahaya, announced his country's commitment to assist Namibia in addressing the drought situation.

Malaysia will contribute over N$700,000 towards relief efforts.

Yahaya said this during Malaysia's 61st National Day celebration.
