The Namibia Heritage Week officially kicked off in Windhoek on Monday. 

Established in 2012, the event aims to celebrate and preserve the country's rich cultural diversity and heritage. 

Swakopmund residents will close the Namibian Heritage Week 2024 with a fashion show that aims to keep Namibian culture alive.

The Namibian Heritage Week 2024 opened at Swakopmund under the theme "Culture is Community, Community is Culture."
