The Namibian Film Commission's (NFC) regional film roadshow has concluded with the premieres of Mindful Maestros, Connection, and One More Win.

The three-week initiative travelled across five regions to promote film development, support local creatives and showcase authentic Namibian stories.

MultiChoice Namibia has empowered more than 800 local filmmakers through their Ombura film project. 

Now in its second phase, the project has produced close to 19 Namibian films available on DStv, GOtv and Showmax, bringing Namibian stories into households across the continent. 

The Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Modestus Amutse, officially launched Namibia Film Week, delivering a message of pride and celebration in the art of local storytelling.
