The councillor of Mashare Constituency, Petrus Kashumali, has raised concern over severe crop damage caused by elephants in Baramasoni, Vikota, and Rupesho Tara Tara villages in the Kavango East Region. 

The Kunene Region has been severely affected by the massive inflow of water following heavy rains over the past few weeks, with residents in both urban and rural areas seriously affected.

The persistent drought in the Zambezi Region is increasing the human-wildlife conflict. 

The past weekend saw wildebeests damaging farmers' crops who are practising wetland cultivation at Malindi Village in Kabbe North Constituency.
