Former learners of Festus Gonteb Primary School in Swakopmund are moving swiftly to turn the construction of a N$50 million school hall into reality.
 

The August 26 Construction has handed over a Life Skills classroom and a storeroom at Windhoek's Orban Primary School.

Learners have for many years been moving from one class to another to attend life skills lessons.

A Quantity Surveyor of August 26 Construction Gabriel Nandjingwa explained.

The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture has attributed the temporary suspension of 2027 learner admissions in parts of the Erongo Region to schools applying a first-come, first-served system, which triggered panic among parents.

A former learner of Nomtsoub Primary School, Bennett ||Khaibeb has called on fellow alumni to give back to the school.

The school is in dire need of additional classrooms and an assembly hall. 

Sikosinyana Senior Secondary School has received a contribution of N$300,000 from its patron, who is also the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform, Ruthy Masake.

Six classrooms were inaugurated at the A.A. Denk Memorial School in Kalkrand.

The classrooms were constructed through a grant of close to 18 million dollars from the Japanese government.

The Suiderlig Secondary School's hostel in Keetmanshoop has received three solar geysers courtesy of NAMDEB.
