The late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, has been praised for championing reconciliation, which he cemented in an independent Namibia.

Governor of the |Khomas Region, Laura McLeod Katjirua, paid tribute to the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, at a regional memorial service held in Windhoek's Havana.

The event celebrated Dr. Nujoma's unparalleled contributions to Namibia's independence, national unity, and development.

President Nangolo Mbumba has described the late Chief Hosea Kutako as an exemplary nationalist, a leader of peace, unity, and a leader of justice for the Namibian people.
