The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform is planning to revive a technology centre in Rundu that has been largely ineffective over the years.

The Katutura Police Station is currently undergoing renovations valued at N$102.6 million. The renovations aim to improve the station's facilities and working environment, with completion set for 9 October 2027.

The Katutura Police Station holding cells have not been operational since 2018. 

Kavango East Governor Hamunyera Hambyuka has revealed plans by the government to construct a primary school at Mushangara Village.
