Various heads of department at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation have been visiting the Erongo, Oshana, Kavango West, and East regions over the past two weeks.  The nbc's news team in the Kavango East Region caught up with the head of the delegation, Menesia Muinjo.

18-year-old Oriana Ribeiro has been crowned Miss Teen 2023. She takes over from Zoe Karsten.

Ribeiro is an advocate for a change of mindset, and she believes circumstances do not dictate one's quality of life but the way one thinks about it.

Miss Namibia pageant organisers ready for pageant

Organisers of the coveted Miss Namibia pageant say it is all systems go in Swakopmund this weekend.

The main pageant will be preceded by Miss Teen Namibia on Friday, followed by the big occasion on Saturday.

nbc Molelo radio drama project expected to air between November and December

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) has started working on the Molelo Radio Drama project, which is targeting all eleven radio services. 

The project is a result of the scientific audience research that was recently carried out by the broadcaster to determine the audience.

Namibia shines at CANA Zone IV Swimming Championship

The Namibian Swimming Federation proudly announced a total of 117 medals and the best team award from the tournament. Swimmers were welcomed by a swarm of happy parents and supporters at the Hosea Kutako International Airport.

NSSU won't participate in COSSASA championship in 2023

In 2022, NSSU team members and parents were left stranded after a trip to Potchefstroom, South Africa where they were supposed to participate in the COSSASA Athletics. They however realised the event was not taking place after travelling to South Africa by bus and arriving to an empty stadium.
